Application forms

Application forms may be obtained from the Registrar's Office or download in PDF (Adobe Acrobat 4.0) format here.

Application and admission requirements

	Indian applicants
	Applicants must submit the following items:
	1.	Certificate of educational qualifications
	2.	Proof of date of birth
	3.	4 additional passport-sized photographs for Certificate courses and 6 for Diploma courses
	4.	A self-addressed envelope stamped for Registered Post, without which applications will not be considered.
	Overseas applicants
	Applicants must submit the following items:
	1.	Certificate of educational qualifications
	2.	Proof of date of birth (e.g. valid passport photocopy)
	3.	4 additional passport-sized photographs for Certificate courses and 6 for Diploma courses
	4.	An International Reply Coupon, obtainable from local Post Offices.

Supporting documentation

In evidence of the applicant’s qualifications the following documents must be submitted:

	Certificate applicants
	Secondary Education certificate, Year 10 or age 16 exam results (eg. 10, India; GCSE ‘O’ Levels, UK; School Certificate, Australia; Intermediate Exam, Ireland) together with the mark-sheet/marks breakdown if separate.
Diploma applicants
	Yoga Ecology
	Bachelor degree holder in any faculty from any university, together with mark-sheet/marks breakdown.
	Yoga Philosophy
	Bachelor of Arts, Science or Commerce (BA, BSc or BCom), together with mark-sheet/marks breakdown.
	Yoga Psychology
	Bachelor of Arts, Science or Commerce (BA, BSc or BCom), together with mark-sheet/marks breakdown.
	Applied Yogic Science
	Bachelor of Natural or Applied Science (BSc), together with mark-sheet/marks breakdown.
	A letter from the Head of Faculty of the institution at which the applicant is currently engaged in undergraduate studies, and which certifies that final assessment is scheduled before admission to BYB, may be submitted in lieu of certificate and mark-sheet. These, however, will be required at registration time as proof of graduation.

Document certification

	All applicants
	All applicants should forward all requested documents as attested copies, but note that they will be required in the original or as certified copies at the time of admission.
	Indian applicants
	Copies must be certified by the issuing institution with an accompanying letter on institution letterhead.
	Overseas applicants
	Copies must be certified either by the issuing institution with an accompanying letter on institution letterhead, or by a lawyer.

Note: Where documents are neither in English or Hindi, English transcriptions duly attested must also be submitted.

Additional documents (to be submitted later)

All applicants

A recent medical certificate (from the country of origin if overseas) stating that the applicant is of good physical and mental health, is not HIV+ and does not have AIDS, Hepatitis B, STD, Herpes Zoster or any active viral or bacterial infections. This document should not be submitted with the initial application but will be required in the original at the time of registration. Upon application please disclose to us any pre-existing medical conditions, including mental health conditions.
