Gifts for Devi

The items offered at the Sat Chandi Yajna should be those fit for Devi as they will be distributed to the ladies.

For example:

Sari set with cosmetics and toiletries
Ornaments
Clothing and footwear for ladies, including woollens such as shawls, sweaters, cardigans and socks
Blankets, bedding, sheets, durries, quilts, pillow covers, rugs & carpets, door mats, asanas (mats for sitting on)
Utensils
Grains
Lotus, rose and hibiscus flowers
Sweets (should be dry and packed, not exposed)
Fruits: bananas, apples, oranges, coconuts (not grapes or melons)
Pooja samagri such as kumkum, chandan, sindoor diya, arati, ghanti, incense.

Offerings to Sri Swamiji's neighbours

In addition to the offerings made at the yajna, devotees will get an opportunity to place at Sri Swamiji's feet, items which can be distributed to Sri Swamiji's neighbours at Rikhia. These will be distributed to them during the course of the yajna itself and you yourself can have an opportunity to do it.
