Important: |
| |
Under the instructions of Sri Swamiji, items like saris, bangles,
vermilion, sandals, wristwatches and golden ornaments like nose
rings, nose pins, earrings, bracelets etc., cosmetics like soap,
lipsticks, nail polish, face cream, powder etc. are presented to
the young girls at the time of their marriage and departure to their
in-laws place. Sri Swamiji himself offers such items to the young
girls. It is his method of worshipping the Divine Mother which he
does with devotion and feeling. Your offering of such items will
also be accepted.
You may bring used or new items. However, second hand items should
be good enough for use. Used items should be cleaned and wrapped
in plastic. This is especially applicable for clothing. Used cloth,
if washed, ironed and wrapped in plastic before it is offered, would
be appreciated. Each packet must contain the name and address of
the donor, and also mention if the offering is being made on behalf
of someone.
